Terms & Conditions

The Service lets a tree service business ("contractor") configure a branded, customer-facing ballpark-estimate tool (including their offered services, pricing ranges, complexity adjustments, and branding) and share a unique link with homeowners. Homeowners use that link to describe a project, attach photos, and submit their contact information as an estimate request, which is delivered to the contractor as a lead.

A contractor is solely responsible for the accuracy of everything they configure: their services, pricing ranges, adjustments, review threshold, disclaimer text, and any branding they upload. Anchor & Spear does not set, review, verify, or guarantee any contractor's pricing or configuration, and is not a party to any tree service work performed by a contractor.

Every estimate generated by the Service is a rough, ballpark figure calculated from a contractor's own configured pricing and a homeowner's answers. It is not a formal quote, offer, appraisal, or binding agreement of any kind, for either the contractor or the homeowner. Final pricing for any actual work is a matter between the homeowner and the contractor, determined separately from anything shown by the Service.

Anchor & Spear does not guarantee the accuracy of any estimate, a contractor's availability, response time, or performance, or that any estimate request will result in completed work. The Service is a tool for capturing and communicating project information; it does not perform, supervise, or warrant any tree service work.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through the Service.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or another user's account or data.
• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or that violates the rights of others.
• Misuse a contractor's estimator link, or a homeowner's submitted information, outside its intended purpose.

A contractor is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activity that occurs under their account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

The Anchor & Spear name, branding, and the Service's software and design are owned by Anchor & Spear. A contractor retains ownership of the content they upload or configure (such as their company name, pricing, and logo) and grants Anchor & Spear a license to display that content as part of operating their estimator.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and it may be modified, suspended, or discontinued, in whole or in part, at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anchor & Spear will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from or related to use of the Service, including reliance on any estimate it generates. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

A contractor may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, including a specific account, if we believe these Terms have been violated or if necessary to protect the Service or other users.

Anchor & Spear's operating entity and governing jurisdiction have not yet been finalized. This section will be updated with the applicable governing law once that is determined.

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
